Things about Me
I’m a rare bird, a native New Yorker born and raised in the city.
After a brief stint upstate for school and some time in Sunnyside, I’m back in northern Manhattan, where I spend as much time as possible in Fort Tryon Park.
At school, I studied Political Science, thinking I might become a lawyer.
Hint: I did not.
But I did end up working in a law office, real estate, a bookstore, and most recently at a NYC Vaccine POD.
Along the way, I also served with AmeriCorps, fulfilling a goal of mine to find a way to give back as a human and a New Yorker.
Personal growth has also been something I’ve tried to work on as well. Being an introvert and having only one parent who works all the time can be tough.
Along the way, I figured out that I really enjoy web development and coding. I’d consider myself pretty good with WordPress.
I’m totally comfortable hand-writing CSS and diving into the guts of a website via the Inspect tool. I enjoy solving problems and being challenged – hitting up Stack Overflow is something I learned pretty quickly!
I’m the kind of person who also enjoys working with other people, reads instructions manuals, and takes client satisfaction really seriously.
So drop me a line if you need something done!
